unfortunately, the budget calls and i'm back in my world of save, save, save.

oh, lust.

i think 'scared' is taking over 'excited' at this point.

Barbie's hair looks nothing like the picture.

i found my 'Shopping Chic' Barbie today.

my boyfriend proceeded to put her in my martini glass and pronounce her 'Dita Von Teese'.

(who is gorgeous, by the way.)

i guess she could have been valuable once, but her and her little poodle are both a bit worse for wear.

anyway.. i finally purchased a top to wear with my State of Georgia leather pants today.. :)

so, photos another day. hurray.

Just 3 songs that i love at the moment. They make me feel so relaxed! I just want to lie in a beanbag with some daggy trackies and a warm jumper and daydream for a few hours listening to songs such as these. Hot chocolate or a fresh coffee would also add to the wonderful atmosphere !

Sunday the 14th of June, My boyfriend and i celebrated our three years of looove!

nothing special, we just did what we do best.

drank and slept.

and i couldn't have asked for a more perfect anniversary!

apart from the horrible, sickening sugar hangover i had the next day.

yes.

Sugar hangover.

i consumed more sugar than alcohol that night. including the NEW cruiser.. which is fairy floss absoluteBLISS.

Rain drops keep falling on my head.

Arent the small things the most beautiful.

I bought some new shoes! It was a toss up between these lovely sportsgirl tan leather laceups and these from betts shoes ;

I decided to go for the sportsgirl shoes.. yes i know, soon everyone will have them, but i dont care :) Besides, the Betts ones were only acrylic which i thought was silly for the price.

Today was a reasonably good day,, finally vacuumed my bedroom! And met up with a friend for coffee.

I wore; - Bardot blouse

- Sass and Bide jeans

- Sportsgirl shoes

I thought i looked a bit plane-jane but i did get a few people looking me up and down; due to living in such a small town, where people wearing anything other than a cotton on mens jumper (girls included) and skater shoes is rare. I'm certain I wasnt just being paranoid.

I did enjoy my day off though.. its a rare occurrence to have a whole uninterupted day.

And every single day begins like this.

(click image to enlarge!) So yesterday, i woke up to such a lovely view from my bedroom window- so lovely infact that i thought i would take a picture so everyone can witness how pretty it looked. (thank goodness for photoshop making panorama images so easy to do!). Something about the beautiful green grass in the overcast weather made it seem special. Considering just a few months ago it looked a bit like this ;

yes please excuse the landrover and family, its the only photo i have showing the summer dried hills. Yay, cold weathers on its way! Well actually, its already here. Now at least we have an excuse to go buy winter clothes :)

We must count ourselves the lucky ones.

Sophie and I spent our Saturday night with our favey girls for a night of extravagant dancing in our wonderful capital city, Adelaide. 

We had the most magical time; impossibly high shoes and our own personal economic recessions certainly didnt spoil any aspects whatsoever! Although, have to admit, sitting down and resting our feet was a highlight!!

Nothing compares to a girls night! Just as nothing compares to Donnies (McDonalds) after two hours of sleep before work haha

Oh and I read something on a bathroom wall, that i though was so nice i had to write it down because amidst all the profanities, messages of hate and crap tags was;

"Why do you all focus on hate? Love is the better option, for others, but also for ourselves"

And on that lovely note, i shall sign off and go and read a book!
